Please All, Offend None

It’s no easy job being a corporate event planner, and the job isn’t getting any easier, as audiences become more and more diverse.
Event Planners and Diverse Work Force

“Most companies in America recognize that there are significant advantages to diversity in the workplace,” as EthnoConnect points out.  Some of the big plusses in having a diversified work force include:

  • Increased productivity
  • New attitudes
  • New language skills
  • Global understanding
  • New solutions to difficult problems

It is great to have diversity, but with that comes challenge. “Now more than ever, one size does not fit all. Careful consideration must be given to the selection of the off-site venue, group activities and menus that will please all employees whether they are a newly hired 20-something or a well-seasoned executive,” says Kate Morris, Director of Skamania Lodge.

Here at the Mind-Tripping Show, we are thrilled when people of all ages and backgrounds tell us how much they love the show.

“We have been performing for over 15 years and the key to our success is our engagement with the audience, our positivity toward each other, and the fun, yet surprising, things we do that really interest people of all generations,” says Katalina. “But we also do advance preparation and research to customize each performance for each audience”, she adds.

“People want to feel good. We make them laugh, have fun, see new possibilities, and enjoy life.” That’s what it’s all about, says Christian.

A recent business owner who attended the Mind Tripping Show gave our duo a very important compliment: “The great thing about what Christian and Katalina do is that it opens minds and boosts morale.”

Corporate event planners, you can breathe a sigh of relief –our performing duo Christian and Katalina have been nicknamed “Goodwill Ambassadors”!
