The Power of Color

Here are important facts about color:

  • Ads in color are read up to 42% more often

“One of the things we have to think about is the background color for an event,” explains Katalina.  We learned early on not to wear black because it would make us blend into the background.”

“Every event organizer tries to synergize lighting, sound and décor for the best possible impact, but the key is color,” says Yusno Yunos of the Malaysian event planning software company Evenesis. Do you want to make their hearts go pounding out of control with excitement? Yunos asks. Red expresses power, excitement and love. Green, on the other hand, signifies nature, health, and a new beginning, while purple is a controversial color, for those who are daring, mystical, and alluring.
